I love the month of May! I love to give gifts (and receiving is fun too) and enjoy seeing the earth wake up from the brown and bare end of winter. The lime green of new leaves, bright pastels of tulips, the abundance of flowering trees, and days where we can feel the warm breeze of summer coming.

Atlanta has an amazing food scene, beautiful parks and trails with a 22 mile loop around the city and 200+ acre park and botanical garden in the middle. Add in a ton of museums and historic sites, fun boutiques, quirky neighborhoods and markets, you get a great destination to visit without running out of things to do!

Perhaps this Valentine's Day, if you normally give a card maybe you shouldn't. Let's not do the expected, but instead offer to go for coffee or a walk and give your words in person. If giving a card isn't your style, maybe surprise them this year with one or a handwritten note. I'm excited at the thought of bringing a bright spot in the middle of February to those I love.
