Summer is all about exploring new places, traveling to neighborhood farmers' markets, camping in the great outdoors, and adventuring to other states. We have so many great gifts to remind you where you have traveled to and enjoyed.

As you wind your way north on M-22, you catch glimpses of blue water dancing through sun-dappled trees. This peninsula feels isolated as it's surrounded by water and filled with lakes. But it is dotted with charming towns, barns, and rolling fields making it a perfect destination to explore.

These are the porch-sitting days. The sounds of kids playing in the neighboring pool. The smell of fresh cut lawns and the quiet evenings when the sky glows pink at sunset. Summer is for making up lost time, enjoying moments and creating memories.

When do we break out of the routine and invite others into it? When we are purposeful and intentionally gather friends and family together, it just doesn’t have to be a big event or major undertaking. Sometimes the least amount of planning or most impromptu event makes for the most special. Leave a little room in your schedule and be intentional!

Spending one week on magical Mt. Desert Island was wonderful. We were surrounded by soaring pine and spruce, rocky coastline that exposed tide pools when the tide receded, bald eagles that we sighted daily, and the stunning deep blue of the Atlantic that was mesmerizing to watch when the sun would dance off the water or the lobster boats would check their traps.

We are so ready for summer. After a long winter, we've seen people and plants slowly emerge from slumber throughout the spring, but now the earth has warmed and so have we, fully blossoming and stretching our faces to the sun to enjoy all that this season has to offer.

We're all about celebrating around here and we don't need an excuse to celebrate! But this month is full of big milestones -graduation from high schools, college graduations, moving from elementary to middle school, heading off to the military or a trade school. And we can't forget our teachers and mentors who have influenced and encouraged us along the way!

The historic city of Savannah, Georgia really does have it all - beautiful architecture, wonderful gardens and quaint squares, fantastic shopping and so many great dining choices. With its great art scene, the beach close by and the Riverfront, we ran out of time to explore it all. I guess we'll just have to come back!

This month is a time to celebrate not just moms, but all the special women in our lives! Spring is a great time to get outside and enjoy activities together, intentionally spend time with the female family and friends who support, encourage, and love you. There are so many ways we can show we appreciate the women in our lives. 

May is always a full month for us. Full of flowers and warmer days, full of birthday celebrations, our wedding anniversary, Mother's Day and Memorial Day. Now this year we're throwing in prom and graduation as well! I love to celebrate and make a bit of fuss over loved ones, no matter the occasion!
